Each summer we all make a mental list of things we would like to do, but more often than not that list is forgotten and you arrive at the end of summer saying "I guess we'll do it next year". Or we don't know what to do that days just fly by and you haven't done anything exciting. To help you make the most of summer we are sharing the Resilientista Summer Bucket List.

Glamping

Summer is all about enjoying the great outdoors, especially when the warm weather really lasts about 90 days. Gather your gal pals and connect with nature. But, lovelies you don't have to rough it, Glamping Hub is a great resource for glamping options to fit your needs and budget.

Day Trip

When time and budget are limited day trips 1-2 hours outside the city are a great way to see and do lots of things without breaking the budget. The great thing about day trips, is that they are doable both on your own or with friends.

Berry Picking

Berries scream summer and these little delights are filled with anti-oxidants , and can be eaten straight off the vines or added to yogurt, made into jams or used in baked goods. It's a fun way to enjoy the bounty of summer and get a little exercise too!

Picnic in the Park

Pack a picnic and head to the water front, a park or take it along on your road trip, stop along a country roadside and enjoy. Kick off your shoes and stand barefoot on the grass.

Voyageur Canoe Experience

Get out an the water and enjoy a voyageur canoe experience. In Toronto, Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak Centre transport guests through the many channels and lagoons of the Toronto Islands, a small paradise in Toronto's own backyard, with secluded beaches and bird sanctuaries.

Explore YOUR City

Take a day and explore a different area of the city. One of my favourite places to get to in Toronto is Kensington Market. I love the energy of the open produce markets , the vibe of the people and exploring the eclectic shops.

Take a European Trip

There is nothing as invigorating as stepping off a plane in another country! Leave your cares behind and go on an adventure.
